Welcome!

Welcome to the Garden Grandma website!  

I have dabbled with gardening for many years, but when my youngest daughter was about to graduate from high school, I figured I needed to get a 'real' hobby.  Little did I know that I would fall in love with gardening!

What do I love about it?  The flowers!  Fresh vegetables!  Abundant harvests that I can share with others!  And especially the never-ending challenge of  learning how to be a better gardener!  I have by no means mastered it all, but as I learn, I also like to teach.  I am a retired educator, so this is one more topic for me to explore and share with others!
