Mobility C2: Exchange students in Romania
From 8th to 14th May 2022, mobility C2 to Romania took place at the framework of the project. The host school was the "Licuel Tehnologic Tanasse Constantin" at the village of Izvoarele.
All schools of the program participated, with a group of students and teachers. Their accommodation was at the town of Slatina, 30 km to the north.
The activities of the mobility, according to the schedule were:
a) Presentation by each school of a Power Point or video with the subject: “History of toys”.

b) The manufacture of toys from each country and their presentation in a relevant exhibition.
c) Creation of artifacts (e.g. decorative) by the children, who worked in mixed groups, in which students from all countries participated.
d) Participation in sports games, also in mixed teams, which promoted the cooperation of children from different countries.
e) Visit to the neighboring city of Craiova and get acquainted with the monuments of the city. Also, visit to the children's theater Colibri, where they received a lot of information about the operation of a children's theater and the construction of the necessary material, such as puppets and costumes.
f) Visit to Transylvania and the legendary Bran Castle.
The program included additional activities, with the aim of deeper acquaintance with the culture of the host country but also the acquaintance and interaction between students and teachers of the hosted schools. Special mention is made of:
Visit to a cultural club in the area, acquaintance with traditional art and participation of children in interactive games.
Students and a teacher were interviewed on the local channel in the same place.
Acquaintance with the countryside around the school, which took place with a wonderful ride in horse carriages.
Presentation of Romanian traditional dances.
Spontaneous participation of students and teachers in dances from all visiting countries.
The meeting in Romania served to the fullest extent the purposes of the program which is to connect art with play and to involve children of all socio-economic, knowledge and rate levels in enjoyable and creative activities, so that they can feel proud of their creations. Also, to interact with other children in Europe in a foreign language and to get to know their culture and mentality.
All participants, students and teachers left with the best impressions, eager for even more work and participation to the next activities of the project.
