Dr. Ebrahim N. Badjie is a modern freedom fighter for The Gambia. He is an author, activist, pilot, astrophysicist, astronomer, natural philosopher, company owner, photographer, graphic designer, software engineer, and founder of The Gambian Connection. He has been an executive and ambassador for the UNHCR for almost 3 years.
Dr. Badjie is committed to using his talents and skills to help his country. He has worked with several youth associations around the globe, and he has piloted cargo planes in the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. He has also used his proceeds to help children in Afghanistan, build a children's clinic in DRC Congo, and create a playground in the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Ebrahim N. Badjie is a multi-talented individual with a long and distinguished career. He is a pilot, astrophysicist, social justice activist, and youth advocate.
Dr. Badjie was born in The Gambia in 1987. He attended Southwest Senior Secondary High School in Miami, Florida, and then went on to study astrophysics and quantum physics at the University of Florida. He later earned his PhD in aeronautical science from the University of Southwest Florida.
After graduating, Dr. Badjie worked as a pilot for several airlines and the United Nations. He also served as commander of the Dominican Republic's special forces. In 2014, he was severely injured in the war region of Afghanistan.
Despite his injuries, Dr. Badjie continued to work on behalf of human rights and social justice. He founded a bus company in Germany in 2015, and he also founded a charity organization called The Gambian Connection. He is currently the Youth Ambassador and Africa Coordinator of the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE).
Dr. Badjie is a strong advocate for the African youth. He is a campaigner against deportations, and he is involved in many charity and helping projects between the Gambia and Europe. He is also a musician and a writer.
