THE FIRST STEPS IN ROBOTICS

GENERAL PRESENTATION

The main purpose of the project is to help students to improve their knowledge through robotics and STEAM activities.

Students will learn how a robot moves, what is the role of sensors and how they can detect an obstacle. For this they will use previously acquired mathematical and physical notions. They will do this in a first stage on a virtual platform that has a simulator (https://lab.open-roberta.org/, https://makecode.microbit.org/), then in the second stage on specific platforms, with the effective help of robots.

AIMS

To involve students in learning activities related to technology, engineering, math, art and science (STEAM).

To experience through hands-on activities to learn the STEAM content

To access the benefits of project-based learning through robotics.

To familiarize students with current use of robotics and coding in nowadays education trends.

To solve problems and stimulate creativity

To exchange of practices and knowledge
