Ingredients: Yogurt culture, raw milk, two 32 oz mason jars with lids, water, Instant Pot
Yields: Two 32 oz mason jars
Instructions:
In each clean 32 oz mason jar, add 1/4 cup yogurt (this is your starter culture - I used organic yogurt from the grocery store for my very first batch). Fill each jar all the way to just below the threads of the jar with your raw milk, put the lids on, and shake until the yogurt is incorporated throughout.
Put the jars in your Instant Pot and fill the pot with warm tap water up to the shoulders of each jar (even if that is above the max line for your Instant Pot). Push the Yogurt button until you see the option for a 24 hour culture.
When the cycle ends, remove and wipe down the jars and refrigerate until cold. Enjoy as a yogurt parfait or as the base for a yummy smoothie!
