The Fairy Pawsitter turns 'goodbye' into 'see you later' and transforms worries into wagging tails!
Entrusting your furry friend to sitter care while you're away might seem daunting. Rest assured, The Fairy Pawsitter is here to whisk away the worries and make the experience stress-free for both you and your pet. Our fur babies really are our family and I treat every pet who comes through my door like my own. Our pets can also communicate with us in subtle ways and I am good at picking up on what they may be needing in that moment.

Do you offer drop off and pick up?
Yes, for an additional charge within 8 miles. I am equipped with a car carabiner.
How many dogs do you take at one time?

Do you offer anything outside of the conventional services?
Absolutely! Visit the Pawsitting section for all of my services and add-ons.
Do you allow pets on your furniture and in your bed?
Yes, but you may request otherwise.
Can I book recurring care for specific days every week?
Yes but this is always subject to change based on availability.

Do you accept tips?
Yes, if you feel the service I provided was great, I would appreciate the gratuity or a review.
What if my care exceeds the time limits?
I understand it isn't always possible to only have boarding care for exactly 24 hours. If you need to pick your pup up much later from when you dropped them off, please coordinate with me. Daycare extending over 10 hours will be charged for a 20-minute walk.
Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or cash. If there is a method you would like me to consider, please reach out.
My pup has anxiety and doesn't like being around other dogs. Can you accommodate?
Unfortunately I can no longer provide services for a single dog, as my dog lives in the home with me.
How much notice do you need for a booking?
This depends. I can often take a same-day request for boarding. For the fastest response, submit an intake form and send me a text message.
In-home bookings require much more advance notice and are subject to availability.
What information do you need about my pet when I schedule care?
For starters, I will ask for their name, date of birth, and the service you are requesting. Please provide me with specific care needs such as personality, meal times, sleeping habits, socialization (on walks, with other dogs/people/kids), where they like (or do not like) being pet, medications, likes, dislikes, dietary needs, anxiety, mobility challenges, or the like. Please be specific with the dates you are requesting.
If you are an crazy dog lady like me, I'm sure you will tell me anything and everything! No detail is too small so please give me all of them and ask questions!
What do I need to pack for my dog for the day or night?
Please bring their food, their bed or crate and any medications.
Do you do meet and greets?
I like meet and greets and require them! The first meet and greet is free of charge.
Can I schedule multiple meet and greets?
Yes you can! Your first meet and greet is free and additional meetings will be charged at $5.
What activities will you do with my pet?
I ensure your loved one will feel right at home and never experience a moment of loneliness in your absence. We love to run in the yard, play catch or do tug of war. In the summer, I set up the water sprinkler. After a day of fun activities, I enjoy putting on some TV and cuddling under some blankets. Your dog is welcome to have free reign of my home unless you prefer them to be crated.
If I book boarding care the week before a holiday and the care extends past the holiday, will I be paying the holiday rate?
Yes, the entire booking is considered a holiday rate.
Which holidays incur the holiday rate?
Please see my calendar which indicates which days are charged at the holiday rate.
Will you take my pet to an appointment while they are in your care?
I ask that any routine or follow up appointments be booked outside of your care request for liability reasons. This would incur an additional fee.
Can I submit a testimonial or a review?
Yes, please do! You can contact me directly or fill out a review.
Do you have cameras in your home?
Yes, any space your pet has access to is equipped with a camera.
How will you keep in touch with me while caring for my pet?
For boarding and daycare, I fill out a daily log while your pet is with me going over things like mealtimes, walks, overall mood, and sleeping habits. In addition, I will send daily updates via text. I leave it up to you how often you would like me to communicate with you. At the end of care, you will receive the Wags & Wellness book with the daily log from your pet's stay.

What happens if my dog bites another dog or gets bitten?
While incidents like these are rare, I understand that they can happen. As part of our commitment to safety, I make every effort to thoroughly vet dogs before they are allowed to interact with others. However, in the unlikely event of a bite or injury, I take immediate action to ensure the well-being of all pets involved.
If your dog gets bitten or injured: The dog that has sustained injuries will be promptly separated from the situation and will receive immediate attention. You will be promptly notified. If necessary, I will take the dog to a veterinary clinic for treatment.
If your dog bites another dog: I will separate the dogs involved and address the situation accordingly. I will also request the vaccination records for your dog (if not already on file), to ensure that there are no risks of disease transmission. These records will be sent to the injured dog's owner.
In both cases, I will document the incident, including photos of any injuries and witness statements if applicable. Depending on the severity of the incident, the injured dog's owner may choose to file a report with animal control. I will support this process as needed.
My goal is to resolve these situations quickly and safely, with the health and safety of all dogs as our top priority. Should any alternative arrangements be necessary for continued care, I will work with you to ensure the best solution.
How many years of experience do you have?
I have had pets my entire life. I started the Fairy Pawsitter in January 2022.
Is this your only job?
I work remotely Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. If I could sustain the Fairy Pawsitter being my sole source of income, I would!
Who lives in your home?
My fiancé, Joey, lives in the home with me. His two children are here every other weekend.
