Quinn Bhat just found out their mother is dead. She left for a research exhibition and never came back. They didn't even get to say goodbye. Now, with hardly any warning, much less time to grieve, they must live with the father they've never met. But their father is no less busy than their mother was, so he enrols them at Pine Mountain Academy, a boarding school in a tiny town north of Quebec.
