We will not have an egg sale this week, 6/27/24.
It has been incredibly hot and the heat slows down egg production in our hens.

After a long period of rebuilding our flock, the Egg Shack is back in action! We are selling eggs at the Handler's house this Thursday from 4:15-5:15pm and hope to continue weekly sales. Each week I will post a new sign-up form here and on Facebook so you can pre-order eggs. If I have additional eggs, I will bring them to the sale.
Pay ahead using Venmo @Chelsey-Lundgren or bring cash.
If you would like to purchase more than one dozen eggs, please complete the form more than once. This ensures we don't have more orders than we can fill.
Don't forget to like us on Facebook at The Egg Shack.
As the world shut down in March of 2020, our family of 5 worked together to keep our farm running. One of our first "covid projects" was the chicken coop. We built the Egg Shack and moved the chickens to our yard in the Spring of 2020. We have about 60 happy birds including a few roosters and a turkey! They are free range and pretty much rule our front yard eating bugs, worms and all the grass seed we tried to plant in the fall. Our chickens and eggs are not organic because we do not buy organic feed. We feed them a combination of kitchen scraps, corn grown on our farm and Purina layena crumbles. The kids are in charge of feeding, watering, collecting eggs and cleaning out the coop. Every couple of weeks we move the shack to a new grassy spot and let them fertilize our field naturally! Thank you for supporting our family farm!
