The Meaning of EBEN
EBEN comes from the Arabic word ابن — ibn, meaning “son.”
From this simple word rises a truth older than kingdoms and deeper than oceans:
All people are sons and daughters of God.
All breathe the same breath of the Creator.
All walk beneath the same heavens.
All are born with dignity that no man may give or take away.
The Lord who shaped the mountains also shaped the poor.
The One who hung the stars also sees the refugee.
The God who watches the sparrow watches the hungry, the sick, and the homeless.
EBEN stands as a witness to this truth.
The Divine Order of Human Equality
From the beginning it was written:
“Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?”
— Malachi 2:10
Thus no crown, no wealth, no nation, and no tribe may exalt one above another.
For the Lord is no respecter of persons.
The Qur’an echoes the same decree:
“We have honored the children of Adam.”
— Qur’an 17:70
Honor is not earned.
Honor is bestowed at birth, sealed by the Creator Himself.
The Talmud proclaims:
“Whoever saves a single life, it is as though he saved an entire world.”
The Buddha taught:
“As a mother protects her only child, so should one cultivate boundless love toward all beings.”
The Tao whispers:
“The sage has no favorites; he treats all people as straw dogs.”
The Upanishads declare:
“Tat Tvam Asi — Thou art that.”
What you do to another, you do to yourself.
Across Africa, the elders speak of Ubuntu:
A person is a person through other persons.
Across the Americas, the First Nations teach:
No one stands alone; the tribe is the circle of life.
Across the Pacific, the people say Aloha —
a love that binds all souls as one.
Thus the testimony of the nations agrees:
Every human being is sacred.
Three Rights Granted by God
Not by governments.
Not by kings.
But by Heaven itself.
1. Housing — سكن — Sakan
A place of rest, safety, and belonging.
For even the birds have nests, and the foxes have dens.
2. Food — قوت — Qut
Daily bread for body and spirit.
For the Lord fed Israel with manna and commanded His people to feed the hungry.
3. Healing — شفاء — Shifa
Care for the sick, comfort for the suffering, restoration for the broken.
For every prophet was a healer, and every scripture commands mercy.
These are not luxuries.
They are the inheritance of every ابن — every child of God.
The Mission of EBEN WORLD
EBEN WORLD rises to restore what Heaven intended:
Shelter for the wanderer
Bread for the hungry
Healing for the afflicted
Dignity for the forgotten
Not as charity.
Not as favor.
But as justice.
As obedience to the ancient command:
“Open your hand to your brother, to the needy and the poor in your land.”
— Deuteronomy 15:11
A Call to the Nations
Let every people, every faith, every tribe, and every tongue hear this call:
We are all أبناء الله — children of God.
Therefore let us lift one another as family.
For when we shelter the homeless, we honor the Creator.
When we feed the hungry, we fulfill the covenant.
When we heal the sick, we heal the world.
This is the work of THE EBEN WORLD INSITUTE.
This is the work of all who walk in the light.
