The Day of the Dead is a celebration in Mexico and parts of the United States. On November 1 and 2, families get together to honor their deceased loved ones. They honor their ancestors with decorative altars to show their love and respect. People celebrate by having parties and parades, wearing colorful makeup and costumes, and making offerings to lost loved ones. Edible sugar skulls or calaveras are made to put at the altars. Solve a series of puzzles and read passages to break open the locks. Read the directions below before you begin.
