Mustafa Elshahat "b. 1996" , widely known in the Middle Eastern art scene as "CROCODILE," is an Egyptian visual artist whose practice operates as a psychological operating room. Transitioning from raw manual labor and academic simulation to profound emotional abstraction, Elshahat has synthesized a distinct visual language defined by structured chaos, primal lines "Scribble Technique", and minimalist depths. His digital and traditional canvases do not seek to please; they document the visceral pathology of survival, trauma, and human cruelty.

"I do not paint to please; I paint to breathe. My journey began with a finger on a cracked phone screen while my hands were stained with the paint of manual labor, and it culminated in four strokes the price of being honest in a world of masks.

My art is 'The Crocodile Museum': a silent creature with thick skin, guarding memories of the cold pavement, the bitterness of betrayal, and the majesty of survival. I have died twice and been reborn; therefore, every stroke on my canvas is not just color it is an 'operating room' for a soul that refused to be defeated.
