The Community Muse was co-created by siblings Ana Fox and Antoine Fox, both students at the University of Ottawa who combined their artistic vision, technical skill, and community-driven values to bring this project to life.
Ana Fox Artistic Director & Designer
Ana is a third-year student in Fine Arts with a Minor in Law at University of Ottawa. She led the creative direction of the Community Muse, designing the overall concept, structure, and visual direction of the installation. Ana crafted the interior layout, curated the interactive components, and developed the artistic tutorials that make the Muse a hands-on learning experience for children and families. Her work blends art, accessibility, and community engagement to create a meaningful public space for creativity. https://www.instagram.com/artvulpes/
Antoine Fox Technical Lead & Structural Designer
Antoine is in his first year studying at University of Ottawa in an Honors degree in International Development and Globalization within the Faculty of Social Sciences. He oversaw the technical construction of the Community Muse, including all wiring, LED integration, structural assembly, and mechanical components. His expertise ensured the installation is durable, safe, and functional for long-term community use and Canadian weather resistant. Antoine’s focus on sustainable development and community empowerment deeply informs the technical backbone of the Muse.
A Shared Vision
Together, Ana and Antoine combined their strengths, artistic design and technical engineering, to create an accessible, evolving miniature gallery that invites people of all ages to participate in creative expression. Their collaboration reflects the values of innovation, community connection, and youth-led engagement that define The Community Muse.
