Hand-building workshop
$140 / 2 days
Saturday & Sunday December 6/7 from 2:00-4:00 pm
Create two unique ceramic picture frames: one meant to hang on the wall and one designed to stand on a desk, shelf, or side table.
Day 1 focuses on slab, building the overall form, shaping and reinforcing.
Day 2 is dedicated to refining, adding detail, texture and relief to bring your frames to life.
We’ll glaze everything after the workshop so your pieces are durable, finished, and ready to hold your favourite photos or artworks.
(Choose a glaze to finish your piece and our team will glaze for you. All pieces will be ready the week before Xmas at the latest.)
**Your ceramic frame will be fully finished and ready for you to pair with your own backing materials (like cardboard, photo backing, and optional glass) once it’s fired. Because everyone’s frame dimensions and uses vary, these parts are left for you to choose and fit at home
