The Collegiate Breakaway is a project founded by former NCAA Triathlete Hailey Poe with the intention of developing NCAA Women's Triathlon through coverage and community building. Coverage began leading up to the 2025 season with social media and web updates; future plans will depend on the involvement and support of the greater triathlon community. As we focus on community building, we envision creating more opportunities for alumni engagement, shining a spotlight on NCAA Triathletes, and connecting with youth and junior athletes to help NCAA Triathlon gain greater exposure.
