We are a Covers band called the Chapel, we play 90s Britpop/indie covers with some 60s tunes influenced from the mod scene/ 80s punk/ new wave revival and the 00s Indie scene. Carl and Alan formed the band only in 2022 after playing previously together over the last few years in other mod/indie bands, In the first year the band has gone from strength to strength playing lots of gigs and frequently asked back to the same venues building a reputation for a great sounding tight band and authentic covers. Steve and Rich joined together in 2023 replacing the original vocalist/guitarist and made the band sound bigger and far more accomplished. Sadly Al has relocated back to Liverpool and the travelling would be a bit of an issue! Gavin has joined us and a long time friend of Steve’s from the early 90s in the same band the Toad moment, a successful psychedelic indie original band.

All band members are experienced / seasoned musicians playing for a number of years.
