The Buddhism sky origin theory
The background of this hypothesis
The background of this hypothesis
Is there the edge to the universe? Where did we come from? Where do intelligent life forms live in the universe?
Everyone has once thought the such things that can't be answered. But now in the age of science, I have found the answer to these questions in Buddhism (Mahayana Buddhism). Surprisingly, the answers to all questions were found in the teachings of Mahayana Buddhism.
Moreover, this my discovery can connect the past and future of humankind, and connect Buddhism and Christianity, too.
This discovery is ground on the science, especially the life science. And it leads to that the origin of Buddhism is in the sky.
About Buddhism
Today's traditional Buddhism in Japan is the religion for ancestor worship and funerals, but Buddhism is originally the teaching of the mind. The teaching first explains the truth called The Four Noble Truths. These are the four, Suffering, Source of Suffering, The Cessation of Suffering, and The Way to the Cessation of Suffering. That is, the suffering is caused by the human mind, and the way leading to the cessation from suffering is a practice of Noble Eightfold Path. Through the practice of Noble Eightfold Path, a person becomes Buddha, an enlightened one.
Buddhism, the teaching of the mind, preaches also the universe. That view of the universe is very similar to the real universe. And the truth that Buddhism preaches is also similar to the laws of physics. These have been pointed out by scientists. Therefore, scientists and Buddhist monks say that Buddhism teachings are amazing. But why is the Buddhist universe view, born in an age without science, similar to the real one revealed by science? This question led me to the idea that Buddhism might have come from the sky.
What is Buddha? How is Buddhism's view of the universe?
The savior of humankind in Buddhism is not God but Buddha. Buddha means "enlightened person". That is, the savior is not a transcendental being, but human itself.
Buddhism, the teaching of the mind, teaches also the universe. The Buddhism's universe has a hierarchical structure called the three thousand worlds. The small thousand worlds come together to form the middle thousand worlds, and the middle thousand worlds come together to form the great thousand worlds. And in the three thousand worlds, there are stars like the sand grains of the Ganges river, There are countless Buddha lands in it.
Also, Buddhism preaches that everything exist by the causal law in the universe, The universe continues in the past, present, and future, and there is no beginning or end. The universe continues in all directions, including up and down, and is endless. That is, the universe continues infinitely in time and space. In all things, the cause and result are related to each other. Everything is constantly changing, and nothing is constant. From the above, the Buddhism's view of the universe is certainly similar to the universe revealed by science.
How to know the true universe without science
Now, Buddhism begins in ancient times with the deep meditation of Gautama Siddhartha. But, how can meditation reveal the real universe? No matter how deep the meditation is, the actual appearance of the universe cannot be known by meditation. It can only be known by observation. The law of the universe is obtained by observation, theory and verification. Also, he is by no means a clairvoyant psychic. The only way left to know the universe is to be taught by someone who has traveled and seen the actual universe. In fact, there is an anecdote that Siddhartha Gautama's meditation involved the god Brahma.
Hypothetical points
From the above, the grounds for my theory, the origin of Buddhism is the sky, are as follows.
Buddhism began with the real person Gautama Siddhartha.
The view of the universe has hierarchy like as real one.
Buddhist universe is infinite and there is the causal law as same as real one.
At the age no science, only the way to know the universe is the way to learn from those who know the universe.
Buddha means the person who awakens to the truth.
Buddhism preaches that there are countless Buddha lands in the universe.
The enlightenment of Gautama involved a god called Brahma.
