Blu Space exists in a fictional world of my own creation. It is ever-growing and changing, with certain storylines existing within canon at some point, but then being morphed into non-canon or an alternate timeline [inspired to the sorts of Undertale and what not]. A "canon" timeline DOES exist amongst many alternate realities, though. Unless specified, all the events described are within the main timeline. It goes as follows:
In the beginning, there was energy. The energy existed as a purely celestial being before deciding to take on a physical form. This energy materialized Viator, also referred to as "The Creator God". Finding themself in existence, Viator saw it wise to create the Core Formers Ones; Atticus, Kritanta, Aziz, and Titus. They had many ideas for what they could create; Worlds, solar systems, the like. Together, they created the multiverse itself, the timelines spanning into billions of types that no single one of them fully controlled. The balance was kept by Viator and the Core Four for millions of years. Humans, anthro-animals, feral animals, and more live in the system. The primary place the mortal beings live is on Earth, which is similar to that of the real world's Earth with minor changes.
Over the millions of years that Blu Space has existed, agriculture and societal evolution have evolved very close to the real world has. There is religion, war, culture, and the like. The majority of history applies here, alongside subtle differences. The main difference is how creatures are given the rights of humans. In Blu Space, many different creatures have a conscious and experience 'human' emotions. The main three are humans, ferals, and anthros. In order for a creature to be treated similar to a human, the being must contain three qualities; The creature must be able to walk on two legs regularly, the creature must be able to communicate in a 'human' language, and the creature must experience 'human' emotions. An exception to these rules is if a creature is mentally, physically, or emotionally handicapped, the creature still may have rights if its heritage contains the three qualities. A creature such as an alien species like Sharekens can have the same rights as the average human male, but more feral animals on four legs don't have that sort of freedom in certain places throughout the world.
Despite certain areas of humanity deeming itself superior in the early ages, many cultures deeply respect the different species that are scattered across the world. Throughout time, humans and animals had a massive gap with the anthros being the main bridge between the two. Being able to communicate using both human and animal tongues, anthros have been seen as highly valuable within society. In the modern-day, it's not uncommon to see a lion walking a dog. The balance has been kept for generations and modern society sees these things as normal.
Anthros are commonly burdened with impulses due to their feral sides still being intact. Before the 1800s, instinct and predator vs prey were still a huge issue. Over time, doctors, scientists, and psychologists were able to find ways to suppress these instincts such as medication or injections. When anthro-preds began getting injections that removed their feral tendencies from their system, their future children no longer suffered from the urge to kill. This system is only used in certain areas of the world, with many areas of the world still existing based on the predator/prey system [PPS]. Some reasons traditionally predator anthros don't experience instincts could be anything from selective breeding, injections, daily medication, or training.
There have been many higher beings throughout time. There are different types, but they all come with similar statuses. They are ranked with characteristics as follows:
Also used as an umbrella term for Higher Beings in general, Gods are immensely powerful and important. Being deathless immortals, they cannot be killed traditionally without erasure of their existence as a whole. Their soul is consistent, while their physical form tends to change. They are either shapeshifters or seek out new vessels when they feel it is their time. Once a vessel is abandoned, they do not have memories of their past life. There are only a handful of true Gods that have existed, being Viator, Atticus, Kritanta, Aziz, Titus, their immediate offspring, and their reincarnates. They rule over very large concepts such as life, death,
Demigods are powerful, but not as much as Gods. They are able to be killed, but can only be killed by Gods or assorted blessed/cursed weaponry. Demigods are only created when a God and mortal have offspring, which is uncommon. Their souls are also consistent and will find a new host over time when they see fit. Demigods rule over similar concepts to Gods but are much more niche and at times will come in pairs such as fortune/misfortune, reform, youth, and . Demigods can rule over singular or multiple related concepts, such as
Deities are the least powerful of the Gods but are above average mortals when measured in power. They are commonly mortals blessed with skills or talents related to their title. They have what would be seen to regular mortals as supernatural abilities, such as a sixth sense or a special talent in a subject such as critical thinking. Some deities eventually become Demi- or even Gods as they grow up, with certain Deities being deemed when they are very young children.
It's common for Higher Beings to attend the birth of new Gods
Some mortals refuse to believe that the Gods exist, and they are aware of this
If descendants of The Formers were to have a child, it is highly likely the child would be a God
Deities are the least likely to be assigned at birth unless they're a direct offspring of a Higher Being
All of the Higher Beings are connected in some way, whether that be direct or distant descendants
The Higher Beings present when the world was new was deemed The Formers, due to their fading away to time. There is no certain time that they all disappeared, but it was around the late Middle Ages to the Early Modern Era. It's highly debated across the world before the Modern Era if The Formers truly existed at all or if they were nothing but folklore. Despite anything, The Formers were 100% in existence when the world was new and society was just barely forming. The Core Four consisted of Atticus, the God of Life; Kritanta, the God of Death; Aziz, the God of Unity; and Titus, The God of Chaos. They all had no real gender since their existence transcended gender as a concept. Over time, more Gods were created as a result of either the Gods' will or when society created one from a new concept, building a larger number for The Formers. All of The Formers, eventually faded through time, leaving Astrid as the only remaining God for centuries. Since then, the souls of The Formers have slowly been creeping their way back into the universe under the careful watch of Astrid.
