Own this bike for many years and finally decided to clean up a bit instead of just riding it :-)

The typical upkeep , new tires and inner tubes after friends would not ride with me because parts of tires side walls were falling off:-) so New IRC front and rear tires replaced the old ones, new cables, new 90 degree throttle assembly replaced the old one and new levers, forks seals were replaced while waiting to install tires same with new brake brake shoes.

Chain tensioner block replaced too and finally got tired of fixing the side panels the plastic is just so brittle any pressure will make them cracked.. so will post what I have done to it in case someone out there have a TL and are looking for ideas....

This are some of the things I been doing like replacing the rubber in the chain tensioner.. but i use a piece of Hifax

Replaced Throttle assembly with a 90 angle and it was time change handles , perchs andfoot pegs are not OEM parts... picked everything in Amazon .

Over the years I guess biguess issues been side panels... the plastic getting brittle and I keep fixing them... using fiberglasseven building were pieces are missing, but it gets to the poing there have to be something better

With the seat combo and the foot pegs I did save some weight

foot pegs half the weight, The seat and side panels almost 5 pounds now a lil over a pound.
