The Basement is a collective youth group that meets at The Vine Church in Madison
The Basement is a youth group with students associated with churches across the Madison area. Weekly we meet as a group at The Vine Church and play games, chat Bible, develop relationships and seek to glorify the king of all kings - Jesus Christ - in all that we do.

James has been a member of The Vine Church since 2012 and a leader of The Basement since 2018! James and his wife have three kids and live in McFarland. James enjoys parades, local Friday night football, community festivals, lawn games and eating at Culver's.

Armila has been attending the Vine and working with the youth group since 2017. She and her husband Nate share their apartment with 2 leporine roommates who don't pay rent. Armila enjoys science, stories (reading and watching), foraging, and making art.

Alex has been a member of The Vine Church since 2021 and began leading with The Basement in 2022. Alex and his wife, Megan live in Fitchburg with their dog, Beaumont. Alex enjoys hosting friends and family, working on house projects, playing any kind of sport, and living life on two wheels.
