Kiro was born, from an egg. A purple.. egg.
His first sight at the real world.
Although he was completely alone, he had been abandoned.
This purple egg, left to sit alone in a shallow cave.
A little lost, he waited for something to happen. Waited for change to take place right in front of his purple eyes.
The loneliness was somewhat boring; pacing around the small cave mindlessly, hoping that someone would find him
He eventually decided to leave the cave, expecting to possibly find his family.
Kiro wandered through the lands—he took the time to sightsee a little—hoping to find the family he once belonged to. What felt like years was only weeks, and what felt like days was only seconds.
Kiro, already seeming to be unlucky.. eventually passed out, unable to keep himself healthy.
He felt a slight nudge against his left shoulder, his eyes slowly opening to the bright light. He froze, as a dragon very similar to him continued to shove their snout against his shoulder. The both of them shared the exact same features—fur, scales and spikes—only they had more of a pinkish tint than his.
Turns out this was one of Kiro's Sisters, Ryoko, both of them... young hatchlings. She managed to make Kiro get up, they walked towards a cave in the distance.
Upon entering the cave… 2 dragons, looking as similar to Kiro as Ryoko, sit against the wall of the cave. These dragons were his sister Mimi and his brother Shiro.
After many discussions and shouts, they agreed to take him in. Overtime, Kiro began to perfectly fit in; he wasn’t lonely anymore. Fishing trips, hunting sessions and fantasies made him feel real. He felt so at home with his family.
He wondered if he was dreaming, he didn’t want to wake up.
Many years passed… Kiro, Shiro and Ryoko kept in contact with each other over the years.
One day… Kiro met another dragon, he befriended them.. a beautiful dragon with ruby coloured wings….
The night of that day, would be the last night Kiro would see…
Shiro, Ryoko and Mimi were all asleep…
Kiro decided to venture outside of his home, into the dark forest where the trees gleamed slightly from the moonlight. It was cold, and as Kiro stepped foot into the forest, a dark figure appeared just in front of him
I’m sorry…
With a whisper, the stranger stabbed a sharp, pointed branch into the side of Kiro’s torso. He yelped in pain, a single tear going down his cheek. There Kiro fell, his (corpse? Or remains?) left to rest in the forest.
Only his memory is left to remain in the hearts of his family, and his… creator.
May he rest peacefully.
