"She will come. With brilliant blue flame and wings of stone, she will come. The Heart of the Flats, the queen of the mountain. Hallowed horns and White blood. Ashen claws, and fang of Stone. Cracked wings, and Smouldering eye. To bathe in that flame, to feel each fibre of wood seize and curl under that pure heat. We will become ash, subjects to her kingdom."
- A recording of a speech given by a member of The Ashen to a gathered crowd in Foenicia, the Shale Flats capital.

An armoured headpiece of kindling wood and hand sculpted stone scales. Colourful ribbons stream from behind and after touching the mantle, your hands come back coated in soot and ash. When wearing the Ashen Mantle, small pinpricks of flame appear at the end of each fingertip, burning anything flammable the user might touch. The mantle also grants full magical manipulation of ash, to the DMs discretion. Examples of this can be creating clouds of swirling ash, or even compressing ash to be as solid as granite

Cinder Skin
If enough ash is nearby, the user can coat their entire body with a layer of hardened ash, granting +1 to AC for five rounds of combat or until they come in contact with enough water to wash it away. This ability needs a long rest before being used again, but will be refilled if the user burns something larger than themselves.
Blade of Ash
if enough ash is nearby, the user can form it into a blade of their choosing. This blade has a +2 to hit and deals 2d12 slashing damage. The blade lasts five rounds of combat and will dissipate if coming into contact with water. This ability needs a long rest before being used again, but will be refilled if the user burns something larger than themselves.
