Have you ever watched some of my older videos (for example, "Sam's Scary Sunday") and wondered what that big tall building with the "CWA!" on it is?
That was CWA! Studios, the studio you used to see in my projects where Crazyness with Ayden! was made.
10 years ago today, CWA! (which it's often abbreviated as) was created out of boredom...
...and a decade later, right now... it's canceled.
"But hold up, I've never even SEEN CWA! before! Why the sudden news?! Especially on it's tenth anniversary!"
Well, good question, I hear you ask...
For starters, CWA! was made exclusively for me and my friends, and not ALL of it's content was original.
Although, some clips which I thought was original enough to share with the world was once uploaded on YouTube.
Of course, trying to access this playlist now won't work since they all got deleted.
"But Ayde, what if I wanted to see those clips (again)?" Again, good question, and a really good answer coming up...
I plan to reuse some moments which were uploaded as clips for my other show I'm working on; Microsoft Sam's Misadventure Flavoured Taco.
That means in a future episode, you'll get finally get to see Sam encounter a Red Screen of Death on his PlayStation 2 again (which was the OG most popular video on my channel until of course, Fern Brady being tired took over (she wasn't lying when she said she was the Rightful Queen after all!).)
I'm not sure how many views it got before it was removed, but I'm guessing it had at least 10000 views? Yeah, I reckon that amount.
I was going to upload a best-of compilation today, but I decided not to, when thinking about all the clips I could reuse as future ideas...
"But Ayde, you've only given us two reasons why it was canceled, is there anymore? And also, why has there been no new episodes of Misadventure Flavoured Taco as of late?"
Wow, lots of good questions today! CWA! also promised DVD giveaways and heck, even a full-on game... but did they ever happen? No, of course they didn't. Broken promises and even attacks to the small fanbase it had for being "lazy and not submitting enough ideas" are two VERY good reasons why I do not want to celebrate 10 years of CWA!.
And as a mash-up show, I also decided, four seasons in, to add in a storyline to it... but that doesn't make any sense! CWA! is supposed to be a MASH-UP show! Mash-up as in mixing up some random videos and adding in some funny edits on them, it's not the type of show that should have a STORYLINE! (Oh no, now it's made me go off on a rant. 😳)
And don't get started on Candy Crush, and all those terrible reaction videos I've filmed for every meaningless milestone I achieved (and boy, am I glad I've stopped playing that game two years ago, wasted 3846 levels worth of my time on there, no really!)
*breathe in, breathe out* Okay, rant over. 🙃 (But hey, best get those feelings out of you rather than let it bottle up inside!)
Now on the other question, where unfortunately, Misadventure Flavoured Taco is currently on hiatus for this year. Had the Series 2 finale got done on time before January, I would've been able to hintingly reveal why. But hence me mentioning "Series 2 finale" doesn't mean you've seen the last of Series 2, for there are, at least, 16 MORE EPISODES OF SERIES 2 AND MANY MORE TO COME waiting for you in 2025! (And yes, I know it's a long wait, but if we made it through 166 days of 2024 thus far, we can get through the rest. Trust me, this wait will be worth it! 😉)
"Phew... those were quite the responses! Anything else to look forward to?"
Yes, there is. 🙂
I'll get on do some more bigger projects in August (since I'll be having a personal hiatus meself next month to tackle some demons made from CWA! (and mostly from 2018-19, which I forgot to mention, where everything I made was SO bad that I literally got rid of the episodes of CWA! that got made during that time! And to give you context about 2018-19, I lost myself... in a bad way. 🫤 And I started to procrastinate from making videos - let alone finish them.)
I've recorded gameplay of Minecraft's 15th Anniversary Journey Map which I'll turn into a Microsoft Sam Plays video later this year, and along with that, I might as well redo the Microsoft Sam plays Superliminal video and make it one whole video instead (the same goes with There Is No Game) (and also, since I've got a better computer, I'll be able to record gameplay of Superliminal on there instead of my PlayStation 4).
There'll also be another Microsoft Sam plays The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, and as well as a brand new Minecraft Series featuring said Text-to-Speech voice, and even a CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) video, which will see it's release in 2025!
Basically, I've got a lot more plans for next year than I do this year... to sum it up in a nutshell.
So yeah, I know everything's a little bit slow in terms of new content from me right now, but like I said: The wait will be worth it!
