We conducted a bake sale on 11/15/2025, where we sold a variety of baked goods! Through the bake sale, we met amazing people who learned about the Aspiring Pages Project’s mission. The event served as a meaningful way to connect with our community. Many visitors asked questions, gave encouragement, and provided support to our goal of spreading awareness on neurodivergence. These discussions helped individuals understand how interactive and supportive books can make a difference for neurodivergent children. We also set up a coloring station for kids, which ended up being one of the highlights of the event. It helped kids connect with our project’s mission, and their smiles while working on the coloring pages made our day!
This workshop was a meaningful event designed to introduce APPS, our goals, and share what guides our work. We shared potential opportunities for community members and students to get involved, including volunteering, leadership, and creative contributions. This allowed participants to connect with one another and understand how they could contribute to making learning more inclusive by designing books that meet the needs of visual learners. Children also participated in hands-on arts and crafts activities. These activities encouraged creativity and different kinds of learning, highlighting that education does not look the same for every child. Overall, the workshop successfully raised awareness about the importance of diverse learning styles while inspiring participants to help make learning more accessible.
Our nonprofit recently focused on creating imagination boxes to support neurodivergent children and their unique learning styles. Each box included a sensory toy, book, pop-it bracelet, volunteer-designed coloring pages, and stickers.
This project allowed us to share our mission of creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences while connecting with many new people in our community. Our volunteers played a huge role in bringing this project to life, especially through the custom coloring pages and the books.
*A special thanks to these Frisco, Texas locations for allowing us to distribute our imagination boxes to children and spreading holiday cheer: Activate Behavioral Innovations, Buddy Behavior, Stepping Stones, and Action Behavior Centers.
