For Photo Appropriation, in celebration of National Women's Month 2023, we were tasked with choosing a Filipina artist that shows themes about women, women's empowerment, gender equality, and an inclusive society. I chose Anita Magsaysay-Ho, a Filipina painter known for her social Realist and post-Cubits portrayals of Filipino life and culture. In this assessment, I researched her work, specifically her piece "Women Feeding Chickens," and discussed what the painting is all about.
