As Ako and Nimura camp out for the night, they briefly see lights in the distance. The next day, they find mutilated bodies at a nearby lake as well as a frightened young man and his companion, a seemingly disabled boy with strange scars on his head. Inhabitants from the town appear and attack them in a frenzy. The silent boy gets badly burned on his arm, but incredibly doesn't make a sound, as if completely numb to pain. A policeman shoots and wounds Nimura, and he, Ako, and the scarred boy are brought to the town.

When Teru wakes up, he comes across the wreck of the helicopter and a makeshift grave for Iwada, who died in the crash. Although initially overcome by despair, Teru looks inside the helicopter and finds and a note from Ako, which tells him that she and Nimura are heading for Tokyo on foot. Hopeful to see Ako again, Teru embarks on the long trek to follow them. Along the way, he encounters a wounded man, who incoherently babbles about Tokyo being both Hell and Heaven. In a fit of madness, the man runs away and falls off a cliff. After giving him a hasty burial, Teru resumes his journey and arrives in ruined Tokyo.

Foreign soldiers storm Tokyo and are attacked by the survivor group. The scientist, now holding a pair of severed heads, says to a soldier that he helped bring about the apocalypse. A document discovered by other soldiers indicates that three nuclear weapons were on Japanese soil, that the governments of Japan and other nations have vanished, and that no one seems to know what exactly caused the catastrophe. During the chaos, a volcano suddenly emerges in what was once central Tokyo. Teru and Ako sit together and watch the volcano, and Teru reflects that the world is what you make of it, and that even with the world in ruins good or evil still both have chances to triumph, leaving a faint glimmer of hope for things to adjust themselves in the future.

Because the enderman is confused about whether your the boss or just a player. This would also give a nice use to dragon heads and makes sense. (the enderman will still attack if you attack first similar to how endermen react to the dragon) Any Ideas?

i can't find it anywhere on the internet, does the dragon head and twinkling dragon torso stones have any scaling? also are there weapons or rings that makes you do more damage with the stones? i know fire clutch works on dragon head stone and red tearstone works with everything.

Our middle school is doing Shrek this year and I was charged with sets and some costumes. Our director asked for a dragon head that a kid could sort wear on their head/carry around. With very little budget, this was my best attempt!

But anyway, here's what's next. I used two colors of pink felt, and covered head with scales I cut. I used tacky glue. I cut the lashes out of the kitty litter plastic(curved edge) and painting black. The teeth and spikes are white soft foam. The ears are just cardboard.

Draken Harald Hrfagre is a Dragonship. The Viking longships owned by kings and chieftains often had a head from a mythological animal in the bow, it offered protection from sea monsters and men, bad weather and raids along the voyages. The head was, besides having the magical function of protection, a sign of wealth and strength, and the more decorated and spectacular the head, the more powerful the owner. Traditionally it was not mounted until just before departure and was not supposed to be mounted in waters near home in fear of scaring of the friendly magical creatures on land.

It will be the first time it is possible to see Draken Harald Hrfagre with her head mounted and the last time in a long time it will be possible to see her in Norway. The day after she will set sail and head out for her challenging route of Expedition America, to sail from Norway to Iceland, Greenland, Canada and USA.

I made a dragon head for my first thread, sculpt, texture and rendered in zbrush.

I decided to try forging a dragon head for the first time in several years; my earlier efforts left me unsatisfied and I moved off into other projects that I felt better about. This effort began with using a 30 inch length of 1/2 inch square stock I had left over from a class project. I gathered up a number of chisels and punches and found a slanted head frame for my vise. I used the standard technique of cutting and forging the horns, bending them back on the bar and faggot welding the overlapped bar to provide mass for the head. Half faced blows established a nose. After that it was working with the chisels and punches. I liked the result this time but it still needed something so I tried to forge dragon scales on the neck using a texturing hammer, but it did not stand out very well. I finally decided to try a pineapple twist on the neck before I forged the head and the result is quite satisfying. I am thinking about scaling it up to 3/4 or even 1 inch square stock but without a power hammer that may be a bit much for me to attempt.

The trick to the horns is the same as adding mass to the head without upsetting. Simply shoulder and draw a little of the end of the bar to a square point, then fold the bar back on itself with the shoulder inside for the head. Split the taper and there are your horns. A little finish shaping and it's a done head.

Michael, I like your chisel cuts on the snout and will use them from now on along with Frosty's suggestion of rounding the edges of the snout. The horns and head are done after the pineapple twist; I leave enough room at the end of the bar to slit the bar in half for about two inches and then draw them out with a square taper and then put them back together in line with the bar. The bar is then folded back onto itself with the end of the horn split lined up about even with the beginning of the pineapple twist. The doubled bar Is then faggot welded to form the head. Half faced blows near the end of the welded bar with the horns down then forms the snout. The horns are left in line with the bar until the head is finished and bent over. You have to be careful not to distress the pineapple twist during all this process.

First isolate the mass for the horns on a radiused edge of your anvil and draw it down and split like you did. Do nothing to the head and while they're still in line with the bar form the horns. If you don't have an anvil bridge now is the perfect time and reason to make one. I made one quick and dirty because I needed one right then I just cut a piece of 2 1/2 sq. heavy wall pipe (because I had it handy) about 3-4" long and welded a piece of 1" sq tubing to the side as a shank. It took me all of 10 minutes because I ground the burs off and put a long bevel on one end so I could get right to the bottom of forks. While it really helps you don't need the shank, you can use the step on the anvil to trap it. This isn't perfect but it works.

With the horns split and sticking straight off the end of the bar pretty them up and put a cut in the bar so you can fold the horns and head back faggot fashion. REMEMBER the shoulder you used to isolate the head and horns folds to the inside. Fold it tight BEFORE taking a welding heat, the horn ends will melt they're so much thinner. Brush, flux and weld. Another cool feature of doing it this way is what happens to the cut you made in the bar to fold. the cut opens up a little like an angry animal's mouth. Hmmmm? I SHOULD have let you discover this, happy surprises are fun to watch but I just couldn't resist.

Now you have the horns and they're out of your way so it's easy to shape and incise the features into the head, it's all straight on the end of the bar so it's never in an ackward position. Lastly form the horns to the profile you like, brush and finish.

This really is a LOT faster and produces a nicer finished head. Once you get this basic technique down it's a small, VERY small leap to turn it into a" ram, mtn. goat, long horn steer, ox, musk ox. Deer, elk and moose are a little harder as the antlers are more complex but it's the same process.

For extra points how big is a Green Dragon head and\or its eyes? Well look at the space it occupies. Medium = 5x5, large 10x10, etc. That should give you a starting point. AUC.register('auc_MessageboardPostRowDisplay'); AjaxBusy.register('masked', 'busy', 'auc_MessageboardPostRowDisplay', null, null) Dork Lord Jun 15, 2010, 06:37 pm You could always measure by comparing a medium D&D miniature to a Huge Dragon Miniature. That should allow you to at the very least eyeball it. The Draconomicon had some measurements in it as I recall, but I could be mistaken...

Based on the size of the space it occupies and its reach, I would say roughly 40 feet in length. 15 (space) +15 (bite reach) + 10 (tail reach) = 40. I would also guess that an adult green dragon is probably a little more than 15 feet high on all fours, and about 30 when standing upright on its hind legs based on these same measurements.

Since huge covers a 16 foot span, we must decide where in huge it is. According to the Pathfinder SRD, a huge green dragon can be Young Adult, Adult, or Mature Adult. With three reference points, we can plot the size as marginally above minimum, median, and marginally below maximum (to allow for some degree of separation from the sizes above and below huge).

Regarding head size, the illustration from the Bestiary (and from the Dragons Revisited book) makes the head look roughly about 1/7th to 1/8th of the body length (nose to tail base). So, for our 3 sizes: 006ab0faaa
