When having a conversation, try to stop using these words in the context that they are meant for as you could be offending the person you are talking to

Stereotypes are harmful and invite your prejudices to a race into your conversations. When having a conversation with someone you may not know well, don’t act surprised when they do something that doesn’t fit your preconceived notion of them.

If someone is offending you, tell them that this way of thinking is not ideal and they should stop as they would keep on offending people if not corrected.
