Thanksgiving
Around the World
Your class is preparing a Thanksgiving celebration. Each student in your class is responsible for bringing in a traditional food item from another country. Each student will research what food is common on Thanksgiving for that country and then prepare samples for their classmates. The food will be locked in the school cafeteria walk-in refrigerator so that it is fresh for each class period. All of your classmates are excited to try different kinds of food. At the beginning of class, you head to the cafeteria for your around the world feast. Your class waits patiently at the lunch tables while your teacher goes to get the cafeteria manager to unlock the door. There is just one problem, no one can find the cafeteria manager. It seems she had to leave due to a family emergency and no one else knows the code to unlock the walk-in fridge! Your job is to help solve the puzzles to unlock the fridge and let your classmates try all the ethnic foods!
RULES OF THE ESCAPE ROOM
● Pay attention to details and read the directions carefully! Hint: There may be a clue at the end of each quiz.
● The 360 degree pictures allow you look all around the room, use the mouse to move the screen. (Use your finger if you are using the VR version.)
● You may use a scratch sheet of paper or reference sheet to help you remember the answers to the locks.
●All answers MUST be in CAPITAL LETTERS!!
●Once you have completed ALL the activities in BOTH rooms, enter the final lock answers below.
● In this escape room you will visit TWO rooms and complete the following:
Read 4 paragraphs
Answer 4 sets of questions about each reading
Decode 4 puzzle to determine clues (You will be asked to "Make a Copy" to get to the puzzles.)
●There are 4 sets of color coded activities. For example there is a Blue 4 icon for a reading passage, a blue question mark for questions related to the blue reading and a blue controller icon for a puzzle related to the reading
