About the conference:

The Thailand Biorefinery Symposium (TBioS)  aims to bring together researchers and professionals to share their experience and knowledge on thermochemical and biochemical conversion approaches. The conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for material science professionals, researchers, academicians, and industrial practitioners to present and discuss the recent developments and innovations in the field, opportunities, and practical challenges, solutions adopted, etc, in the field of biofuels and applications in various sectors.

The 1st TBioS was organized by Suranaree University of Technology, 111 University Avenue, Muang District, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, in July 2019.

The 2nd TBioS has been continued as a 1-day workshop at Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, in 2022.

The 3rd TBioS, in conjunction with the 12th International Symposium Nano & Supramolecular Chemistry (ISNSC-12), Chiang Mai hosted by PETROMAT, Chulalongkorn University, and the Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, in 2023.

The 4th TbioS is jointly organized by Khon Kaen University, Thammasat University, Suranaree University of Technology, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Rangsit University, Chulalongkorn University, and Burapha​ University,  Thailand. 

The TBioS-4 will be held in an ONSITE MODE.

The TBioS-4 will cover broad topics as follows:

Session 1 Thermochemical conversion approach

•  Thermo- and chemical catalytic process in the valorization of biomass such as lignin and carbohydrates for sustainable and chemical

• Chemical process design in the biorefinery industry

• Novel technology in biorefining and circular economy

• Frontier in biorefining

• The others related to thermochemical conversion

Session 2 Biochemical conversion approach

• Biosynthesis and Deconstruction for the biorefinery

• Enzyme development in biorefining

• Development of biochemical processes in the biorefinery industry

• Novel technology in biorefining and circular economy

• Frontier in biorefining

• The others related to biochemical conversion
