This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku Arena ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application.

Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect the email address or username, password (stored securely by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your raw password), display name, and country/region you provide.

Gameplay data

We store your puzzle progress, scores, statistics (puzzles completed, best times, win streaks), in-game currency and inventory balances, achievements, tournament participation and results, and social data you create (such as friend connections).

Advertising data

The App shows ads via Google AdMob. Ads are requested as non-personalized only — we do not use your advertising ID (IDFA/GAID) for ad targeting. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) will ask for your consent before any ad is shown; you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Settings → "Ad Privacy Options". Automatically collected information

Firebase (our backend provider) may automatically log basic technical data (device type, OS version, crash reports, app usage timing) to help us diagnose problems and understand feature usage.

How we use information

• To create and maintain your account and game progress.

• To operate multiplayer features: tournaments, leaderboards, friends, duels.

• To show ads that help keep the App free.

• To communicate with you about your account (e.g. password reset emails).

• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, cheating, or abuse.

How we share information

• Other players can see your display name, avatar, country, stats, and rank on leaderboards, tournament results, and your friends list — this is a social/competitive game and this visibility is core to how it works.

• Service providers: Google Firebase (authentication, database hosting) and Google AdMob (advertising) process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies — Firebase and AdMob.

• We do not sell your personal information.

• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

Data retention & deletion

Your account data is retained while your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact thinhnh1808@gmail.com.

Children's privacy

Sudoku Arena is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact thinhnh1808@gmail.com to exercise these rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where required, through the App.
