The Tasmanian federation of Film Societies (TFOFS)

• represents film societies in Tasmania,

• helps people set up film societies,

• can give advice on running film societies,

• helps people from different film societies communicate with each other and learn from each other's experiences.

We are affiliated with the Australian Council of Film Societies (ACOFS) and they can help our members in a number of ways including

• providing national representaion of the film society movement,

• allowing the hiring of films for non-theatrical screenings at special rates,

• giving access to special arrangements for public liability insurance
