Parents Supporting Music in our Schools
The Tinton Falls Music Parents Association is dedicated to supporting and enriching the music education of all students in our K–8 school system. We are committed to fostering a lifelong love of music by partnering with educators, families, and the community to advocate for strong, accessible music programs. Through fundraising, volunteerism, and active engagement, we aim to provide the resources and opportunities necessary to ensure that every child has the tools to grow, perform, and thrive through music.
The benefits of music education are immense and highly beneficial to students. Music positively impacts a child's academic performance, assists in developing social skills, and provides an outlet for creativity that is crucial to a child's development. Music education catapults a child's learning to new heights, and because of this, it should always be considered a pivotal part of a child's educational process!

The Tinton Falls Music Parents Association is a nonprofit organization created In 1995 by a dedicated music teacher and a group of passionate parents who believed in the power of music education. Their shared goal was to support and uplift the students participating in the district’s music programs. That spirit of community involvement continues today, as the TFMPA is led by volunteer parents committed to helping every child succeed.

Your support goes directly to the music students in Mahala F. Atchison, Swimming River, and Tinton Falls Middle School. Through our fundraising efforts, TFMPA has provided funding for music equipment upgrades, music equipment repairs, music assemblies, T-shirts, awards, and many other events for the musicians of Tinton Falls.
