From an update to temple workers by the temple presidency, dated November 9:

It is incredible the pace of the progress.  We are beginning week 14 and have seen progress with all portions of the work.

The exterior stonework on the tower is complete. It is wonderful to see lights shining on the angel Moroni again.

The roofing work will be complete by the end of the week.

The wall and floor tile in the worker changing area is substantially complete.

The floor tile in the non-patron area will be complete this week.

Wallpaper in the baptistery and around the recommended desk is complete.  All other wall areas will be prepped and ready for wallpaper by the end of the week.

The HVAC system will be starting soon.  All major components are installed, and the associated controls are being connected.  Hopefully, live testing will begin this week. 

Please continue to pray for the workers and for the progress of the work, we have seen miracles.

It has been a pleasure to meet and work with so many talented craftsmen, we will miss our association with them when the work on the renovation is complete.

From Sister Wilkinson's Oct 20 message to temple workers.

Here is an update of the work that is being done in the temple:

• We have passed the halfway point of the renovations and daily progress can be seen from all the contractors.

• The non-patron waiting area is being painted and the new floor tile will be installed in the next few days.

• The worker changing areas have had new floor tile installed and the wall tile installation has started.

• All of the major HVAC components are installed and the connection piping and electrical are being completed.

• The majority of the old wallpaper is removed and is currently being prepared for the new wallpaper.

• The roofing contractor is busy and is working to complete the work while the weather is still favorable.

• The stone work under the Angel Moroni is complete and the support scaffolding will be removed in a few days.

We have felt the results of all the prayers and have seen the Lord’s hand help move the work forward.  The contractors have been wonderful to work with and they have been protected.

Please continue praying for those who are working on the temple as the second half is being completed.
