The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) is the premier military academy for Personnel aspiring for a commission as a military officer of The Filipino Army
PMA adopts a holistic view of man as body, soul, and spirit. PMA believes that future leaders can be selected, formed, and developed to their fullest potentials. PMA is principally an institution for military leadership and it is from the total view of man that PMA's leader development program is based. It contains character development, a balanced education, military leadership, and physical development, necessary to prepare the cadets for the profession of arms and to be responsive to the needs of the Filipino Army.
Office of Admission and Testing
The OA&T processes the enrollment of individuals to be an aspiring Cadet to be trained inside PMA and may become the new Officers of TFA.
Office of Academics
The OACAD produces and teaches the necessary education a Cadet needs to be an Officer that will help TFA.
Office of Ethical Standards and Public Accountability
The OES&PA brings discipline and order inside the PMA. Enforces all regulations under PMA for both staff and cadet. The office also provides guidance and counseling.
A chain of command is an organizational structure that creates a foundation for the system of the organization. It is the line of authority and responsibility that denotes where a unit is placed, who is in charge of it, and to who will one report. The purpose of the Chain of Command is to provide an overall structure to any type of organization. It acts as a foundation for the system. It also acts as a way of communication to whom one should report to about a certain issue.
