1. Introduction
Texxano Time Tracker is a business-to-business (B2B) workforce management application designed to help companies track employee work hours automatically. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: Name and email address provided by your employer when creating your account. Authentication data including login credentials and session tokens.
Location Data: Precise GPS location used to automatically detect when you arrive at or leave your workplace. Background location collected while the app is in the background or closed to enable automatic clock-in and clock-out based on geofencing.
Camera and Files: Camera access for QR code scanning (workplace check-in) and document scanning. Documents and images uploaded for tasks and projects.
Device Information: Device identifiers for push notification delivery. Device type and OS version for compatibility.
3. How We Use Your Information
Automatically track work hours using GPS geofencing
Enable QR code-based check-in and check-out at the workplace
Provide time tracking, project management, and reporting features
Send push notifications about tasks, schedules, and updates
Facilitate team communication through in-app chat
Generate attendance and work hour reports for your employer
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your employer's administrators can access your time tracking data, location logs, and attendance records as part of the service. We use third-party infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, Google Firebase) for hosting and notifications.
5. Background Location Disclosure
This app collects location data in the background to enable automatic clock-in and clock-out when you arrive at or leave your designated workplace. This operates even when the app is closed. You can disable it in your device settings — manual QR code check-in will still work.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your employer maintains an active account. Upon termination, personal data is deleted within 90 days unless required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact your employer's administrator or reach out to us directly.
8. Account and Data Deletion
To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, send an email to updates@texxano.com with your full name and the email address associated with your account. Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity and delete your account and all associated personal data within 30 days. Certain data may be retained if required by law (e.g., work hour records required by labor regulations).
9. Children's Privacy
This app is for adult employees only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
