Text Voice Installation Manual

This manual is created for those users who are facing issues like

1) App is not working

2) No languages or voices listed in settings

3) Hindi Language is not available

For all above issues, please follow below steps

1) Install/update latest version of Text Voice app from Play Store using links

Paid: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TextVoice.TextVoiceGAdsFree

2) It is must to install/update latest Google Text to Speech engine. This is a database which maps text words to speech.

Please use below link to install/update this engine from Play Store using below link

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tts

3) Now restart Text Voice app and check that your issue is resolved or not. If issue is resolved, then you are good to go.

If still your facing the issue then follow below one more step.

4) Probably your device has two text to speech engines (usually Samsung devices has its default Samsung engine).

So you need to set Google Text to speech engine as Default engine. for that you need to

Go to Settings > Language & Input > Text-to-Speech > Set Google Text to Speech as default
