This Privacy Policy explains how the TextBehide - depth LiveWall application collects and uses information. We value your privacy and aim to be transparent about our practices.
2. Information Collection & Use
A. Personal Data We do not collect, store, or share any personal information (such as your name, email, phone number, or location). You do not need to create an account to use this Application.
B. Image Data (On-Device Processing) The Application allows you to select images to create depth-effect wallpapers.
Local Processing: We use PyTorch (an on-device machine learning library) to process your images locally on your phone.
Privacy: Your personal photos never leave your device. They are not uploaded to any server.
C. Wallpaper API (Internet Data) We use Retrofit to connect to our remote server APIs solely to fetch and display wallpaper collections.
Data Used: Your IP address is used automatically by internet protocols to deliver these images to your device.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to improve the app's stability and performance. These services may collect anonymous data:
Firebase Crashlytics (Google): Collects crash logs and error reports to help us fix bugs.
Firebase Analytics (Google): Collects anonymous usage data (e.g., how many times a screen is opened) to help us improve the app experience.
Note on Advertising: This Application does not use any advertising SDKs (like AdMob) and does not collect the Advertising ID (AAID). We have explicitly removed permission for the Advertising ID in our code.
4. App Permissions
To function correctly, the Application requires the following permissions:
INTERNET: Required to download wallpapers and report crashes/analytics.
SET_WALLPAPER: Required to apply the live wallpaper to your home or lock screen.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Since image processing happens locally on your device, your personal content remains secure under your control. Analytics data stored by Firebase is secured according to Google's security standards.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
