Interested in joining?

If you are curious about Judo, we encourage you to come by any one of our practices! No experience is necessary! Just stop by any practice, wear athletic clothing, and bring a water bottle!

Practice Details

Our practices are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6-8PM and Sundays from 11AM-1PM.

Practices are open to the UT Austin community (students/faculty/staff). Unfortunately, due to internal administrative policies and procedures, guests are not permitted at this time.

We have an amazing rotation of black and brown belt coaches who volunteer their time and expertise to teaching our club's members. There is something to learn from all of them, so no matter what day you come, your time will be well spent.

If you are new to Texas Judo, you will have a few weeks to try out our club before paying dues. Returning members should complete these steps at the beginning of each year.

Dues

Dues are $60 per semester.

Click here to open the Rec Sports store. Use the "LOGIN" link at the top right to sign in, then select "Sport Club Deposits". Select "Texas Judo" and "Sport Club Dues".

We charge the most conservative dues we are able to, and use the funds to pay for tournament registrations, belts for promotions, cleaning materials for our practice room, and fun events for our members.

If you have any financial concerns that prevent you from being able to pay dues, please speak to one of our officers. We welcome everybody and do not want money to be a concern.
