What is ΔnΔ, Dungeons and Dragons at UT Austin?
ΔnΔ, Dungeons and Dragons at UT Austin, is a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin whose primary goal is to promote and facilitate the playing of Dungeons and Dragons by UT students.
We hope to offer social and teaching events for people looking to learn more about the game and find others with similar interests.
What is this Dungeons and Dragons you keep talking about?
Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role playing game involving dice and awesomeness. You should come play sometime!
For more information, refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_&_Dragons.
What editions of Dungeons and Dragons do you play?
We play every edition you can think of from 1st to 4th. We don't just play DnD either; we play any roleplaying game we can get our hands on: Call of Cthulu, Pathfinder, Starwars, D20 Modern (and many others) and anything you want to bring.
I am a Player/Dungeon Master already, what does this group have for me?
If you already know how to play then come to find a Game Master to play with. If you are a DM already and you need players then this is where you meet them. If you have a fully formed game group then you still want to check out our Dice Drafts and other events (and who knows when you'll need to pick up a new player)
I'm intrigued. How do I join?
Simply fill out the membership form linked in the sidebar or talk to one of the officers after any of our meetings.
I'm not so sure about this. Aren't you guys a bunch of geeky basement-dwellers?
We realize there are many preconceptions about D&D players, but we're just about as normal as your average college student can be. Come and meet us, and we're sure you'll agree.
We also offer no preferential treatment towards basements because that would be unfair towards study lounges and other playing environments.
