Texas Distance Festival

The Texas Distance Festival will be a two-day event held on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, 2026. Friday’s race events will include the 800-meter and 3200-meter races, while Saturday’s events will feature the 1600-meter and 5K races. Runners may register for and compete in multiple events across both days. Race sections on both days will be run from slowest to fastest, with the elite sections taking place last each night. This is an open/unattached event; therefore, athletes will not be permitted to represent their schools.

SCHEDULE: Race sections will be ran slowest to fastest: Heats are seeded by PR’s
LOCATION: Carroll High School (800 North White Chapel Southlake TX 76092)
ENTRIES: Friday- 800 & 3200; Saturday- 1600 & 5K: Please specify your personal record (PR) so we can seed you appropriately. Races are seeded based on PRs. A panel of current and former coaches will verify and organize heats accordingly.

Monday, March 16th – 5:00 PM: Entries close. The accepted entry list will be sent to the email address provided during registration on RunSignUp.
COST: $20 per event. Registration must be completed through RunSignup
Spectators: $5 Spectator entry fee per day
T-Shirts: TDF shirts will be sold for $25
**Only runners and coaches are allowed on the infield. Coaches must present a school ID to receive an infield bracelet. Runners must have their bib to enter the infield. Parents are not permitted on the infield.**
