Texas Distance Festival – Final Heat Assignments & Meet Information
Final heat assignments and race schedules have been completed and are now available at the link below.
Please note that Friday’s race schedule has been adjusted to accommodate the forecasted heat. To prioritize athlete safety, the 3200m races will now take place during the cooler morning hours. Elite sections will still be held in the evening under the lights. Saturday’s 1600m races and evening 5K races will remain as originally scheduled.
Additionally, we are not accepting any heat changes or additions for this year’s meet, as all race bibs have been printed and assigned to specific heats. Athletes competing in the wrong heat will not receive a result. If you miss your race, we apologize, but the meet will run on schedule.

3. Bib Pickup
Please arrive early, as check-in lines may be long. Athletes will check in at the designated gate to receive their bibs.
· Pin your bib to your uniform immediately
· Your bib is required for entry, exit, and race check-in
· Each bib includes a timing chip—please do not bend it
· If competing in multiple events, keep your bib for both days
4. Spectator Entry
A $5 entry fee will be collected per person, per day.
5. Race Check-In
· Athletes must check in 5 minutes prior to their race at the starting line
· Check-in times are listed on the schedule
· Bibs must be worn at all times
· No watches are allowed during races
· Runners will be lined up in section order 5 minutes before the race
6. Turf Field Policy
No food or drinks are allowed on the turf field.

12. HOKA Fan Zone Experience
Visit the HOKA Fan Zone experience, featuring hats, socks, headbands, belt buckles, a PR wall, posters, awards, and photo opportunities. You’ll also have the chance to test out shoes and spikes. HOKA is helping make this event a truly unique experience.
13. Awards
The top three finishers in each heat will receive an award from HOKA at the Fan Zone. Be sure to stop by to collect your award and take photos.
