Dr. Margot Boles, BCBA-D
My name is Margot Boles and I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015 with my PhD in Educational Psychology. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral (BCBA-D) and my specialties include applied behavior analysis (ABA) and autism research and implementation of interventions for communication and adult and adolescent transition. I have experience working with individuals of all ages with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. My prior experiences includes parent training, clinic supervision for individuals ages 2 to 18 years old, research, one-on-one ABA services for individuals in post-secondary and employment settings, and teaching and training special education teachers and behavior technicians to understand and implement ABA practices. My passion is to give parents the resources to serve their children and help them succeed in reaching their goals. I am looking forward to working with a wonderful community of parents and their children with ASD.
Dr. Jeannie Aguilar, BCBA-D
Dr. Aguilar has experience working with individuals with disabilities from early childhood through adulthood. Originally from El Paso, TX, she moved to Austin, TX to complete her education at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned a BA with Honors in Psychology, and an M.Ed in Special Education with a dual specialization in Early Childhood Intervention and Autism and Developmental Disabilities. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2007 and then completed her Ph.D. in Special Education in 2013. She continues to work with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, teach adjunct courses in Special Education, and supervise students working towards their BCBA certification.
Dr. Laura Rojeski BCBA-D
Dr. Rojeski is a behavior analyst who provides a variety of in-home services to families and children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. She also teaches available courses at the University of Texas at Austin within the Department of Special Education. Dr. Rojeski earned a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. both in Special Education (emphasis in Autism and Developmental Disabilities) from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a Doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). She lives in Austin, Texas and serves as one of the parent training coaches. She can be reached at lrojeski@gmail.com.
Dr. Heather Gonzales BCBA-D
Dr. Gonzales is a Doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). In addition to teaching, she provides applied behavior analysis therapy in the homes of children and adolescents with autism in the Austin, TX area. She received a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in early childhood education from Trinity University, a Masters of Education and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Special Education with emphases in autism and developmental disabilities from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Gonzales lives in Georgetown, TX with her husband and infant daughter, Shiloh.
Dr. Megan Boyle BCBA-D
Dr. Boyle received her B.S in Psychology from Western Michigan University and completed a dual M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Organizational Behavior Management from Florida Institute of Technology, where she specialized in Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2010 and completed her Ph.D. in Disability Disciplines (with an emphasis in ABA) at Utah State University, where she specialized in the functional assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior with individuals (both children and adults) with ASDs and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. She is a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Missouri and is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at Missouri State University.
Dr. Tina Fragale BCBA-D
Dr. Fragale first encountered teaching individuals with disabilities through substitute teaching at a private school in Austin, Texas in 2003, just after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. After several years of working at that school in their early intervention and school-aged programs, she went back to the University of Texas to gain her Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Autism and Developmental Disabilities in 2008 and then her PhD in 2012. She is particularly interested in the application of the science of human behavior, or Applied Behavior Analysis, to improve students’ and families’ quality of life. This includes decreasing challenging behaviors (such as self-injury) and empowering individuals with autism by improving their communication skills. Dr. Fragale currently teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Austin, Texas. When she is not teaching or working with families in the community, she is busy tending to her own family consisting of her husband, two young boys, two dogs and a cat.
Dr. Audrey Hoffmann BCBA-D
Audrey Hoffmann graduated from Utah State University with a Ph.D. in Disability Disciplines and Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a BCBA-D and specializes in the assessment and treatment of problem behavior in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Most recently, she was the Assistant Clinical Director for the Utah Behavior Support Clinic (UBSC) and provided behavioral services and consultation to individuals and families across the state of Utah. She has experience working with individuals and families in homes, schools, community, and clinical settings. Audrey is headed to Johnson State College this fall as an Assistant Professor. She looks forward to mentoring and teaching undergraduate and masters students in special education and applied behavior analysis and starting a clinic to serve families in Northern Vermont.
Dr. Shanun Kunnavatana BCBA-D
Dr. Shanun Kunnavatana is a Doctoral-Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) who holds a Masters in Psychology, with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), from the University of the Pacific, and a Ph.D. in Disability Disciplines, specializing in ABA, from Utah State University. Dr. Kunnavatana has over 16 years of experience using ABA to improve the lives of individuals with and without developmental disabilities in a variety of settings. Her area of expertise lies within behavior reduction, the accessibility of behavior assessments and interventions, and variables that influence treatment adherence. Dr. Kunnavatana has taught at the graduate level for various universities and supervised students pursuing BCBA certification through research and clinical opportunities. She currently resides in Durham, North Carolina with her husband, Paul, daughter, Ellie Jo, and dog, Murphy.
Dr. Amarie Carnett, BCBA-D
Dr. Amarie Carnett is a doctorate level board certified behavior analyst. She initially trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Texas State University during her masters program and is a former special education teacher and behavior specialist. She completed her doctorate degree specializing in ABA and communication interventions at Victoria University at Wellington, New Zealand. She has 8 years of experience working in the field of ABA and Autism/Developmental Disabilities. Her research is focused on developing interventions to help children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) to develop autonomy within their environments and increase their overall quality of life. She believes this best achieved by developing interventions that target issues associated to generalization of skills, as well as ensuring social significance through stakeholder participation. Her research interest can be classified into two overlapping categories (1) communication interventions, and (2) adaptive functioning.
Dr. Michelle Kuhn, BCBA-D
Dr. Kuhn graduated with her Ph.D. in Special Education with an emphasis on Autism and Developmental Disabilities at the University of Texas, Austin. She is a BCBA who specializes in program development in the areas of communication, challenging behavior, and social skills. Additionally, she has extensive experience in parent and staff training. Dr. Kuhn has recently worked as a Clinical Supervisor and Program Developer in Austin through two university and community based partnerships developed to provide ABA services to individuals of all ages. Currently, she also works in the Early Intervention program in Texas providing in home support to parents with children under the age of three. Dr. Kuhn has worked extensively in homes, schools, and clinics. She looks forward to continuing to provide parent support using the principles of applied behavior analysis.
