About Us

4-H Youth Outreach Program provides unique opportunities, resources, and support to children, youth, families, and professionals across the state of Texas. Our goal is to increase awareness of all the ways kids can advance to the next level and achieve their goals and dreams. We are serving our communities with diverse after-school and community-based programs that deliver educational programs and activities.

Our History

Since 2011, Texas 4-H has made a special effort to engage military youth both on and off the 12 installations/bases across the state. Since 2012, the Outreach Program has expanded to serve other underserved youth from different cultural backgrounds.

We are working closely with local community leaders and 4-H staff, to build relationships and develop educational programs that meet the needs and interests of youth and families in a culturally responsive manner. Programs vary widely in content ranging from technology and natural resources to culinary and cultural arts, sports and summer camps.

What We Do

4-H Military Partnerships focuses on positive youth development by providing opportunities for youth to engage in intentional learning experiences. We partner with 4-H educators to provide the training and resources they need to succeed in equipping the next generation of leaders.
