ALTON CARTER is a former foster child and police officer. He was the first person in his family to graduate from high school and college. Now the director of youth ministries for the First United Methodist Church of Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Oklahoma State University alum has dedicated his life to working with young people.

Tuesday & Thursday

Join us to help with this year's community service activitity. We will be creating gift bags with toiletry items along with tie blankets for the local women's shelter. 

Wednesday 

Come learn about the Quilts of Valor program and how you can implement it within your 4-H community. We will be creating quilts that will be used in 2026 to honor Veterans.

Thursday, June 5

The Texas Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals are pre-selling pizza meals (including 2 slices of pizza, a cookie, and a water bottle) to be served at the beginning of the Carson Jeffrey concert on June 5th at Texas 4-H Roundup. Thursday, June 5

CARSON JEFFREY is a full-time, authentic to the core Cowboy and a part-time musician that Texans just can’t get enough of. During the week, the Cat Spring rancher disconnects completely from the music world, opting instead to fill his days building barns, fixing fences, mowing pastures and roping calves. When the weekend comes he converts to a road warrior playing more than 100 shows a year throughout the Southern region.
