• This ride is NOT about you...This is not a race...We ride to HONOR!!
• We correspond through emails, and you are expected to answer each email.
• Each team member must sign all required documents before the start of the ride. (waivers, release forms, emergency contacts, medical history, etc.) These are required to be completed and signed prior to the start of the ride. By signing these documents, you agree to meet the terms set forth within each.
• The Safety Committee reserves the right to restrict any member's participation level at any time. This decision is based on multiple factors, which include but are not limited to consistent unsafe actions, being unprepared mentally or physically, illness, etc.
• All riders must be able to complete the entire ride. Days will average between 80 and 100 miles per day.
• You must understand and follow all the procedures and guidelines established by the Texas Brotherhood Ride.
• If selected, the informational packet must be filled out properly and received by the date requested.
• If you are asked to come off the ride, for whatever reason, and join support, you will work with the rest of the support members under the support coordinator in a position where you can be most useful.
• Each role is important! Functions and physical requirements vary. Activities include work that may be hazardous, including, but not limited to, loading and unloading, and transportation to and from sites. All support members will be required to lift 10-50 lbs., assist other crew members as needed, and fulfill any unforeseen responsibilities.
• Riders must commit to meeting the minimum fundraising requirements of $500.00.
• Support members are encouraged to fundraise as much as possible.
• Events, fundraising & merchandise sales – All members must attend, assist, and share information as much as possible.
• Drivers and support members are responsible for their assigned vehicle. There are no exceptions.
• Riders are expected to assist the Support Team as much as possible.
• Understand that all routes are subject to change, and we have no control over the weather.
