About Me

With over 20 years of teaching experience across schools in the North West, I've helped students of all abilities gain the tools to succeed academically and build lasting confidence. 

I previously led a high achieving department as Head of A-level Economics and Business Studies, consistently helping students exceed expectations. Alongside this, I have significant experience teaching GCSE Maths  and English, supporting learners to build strong foundations and improve their skills.

At Test Prep Tutors I specialise in tutoring  A-level Economics, GCSE Maths and English, combining subject expertise with proven teaching strategies that help students gain clarity, confidence and results. I also offer tuition in Music Theory up to Grade 5 and Aural up to Grade 8.

Through Test Prep Tutors, I offer personalised tuition tailored to each learner. Lessons are available one-to-one or in small groups, either online or in-person, within an 8-mile radius of Northwich.

I also  work with students with special educational needs, including those with Autism, Dyslexia and ADHD, as well as home educated learners. My calm, structured, and adaptable teaching style helps create a safe, supportive environment where every learner can thrive.

Most students working with Test Prep Tutors improve by at least two grades on predicted outcomes. More importantly, they gain confidence, motivation and a belief in their ability to succeed.
