Sandy Skoglund is a surrealistic artist who uses humans, shapes, inanimate objects, nature, and colors to create her pieces. In a lot of her artwork, she uses complementary colors, which makes parts of the work to pop out. In particular, the piece that I chose to add onto this post is purple and yellow, which are complementary colors. In addition to this piece, Skoglund has human models posing in front of a background full of shapes. The model on the left is also photographed in front of a totaled car. In my opinion, I think her aspect is cool and unique. But I like art that has meaning behind it or that can be interpreted, and I can't find any way to interpret any of her work. However, I still respect her work and I find it fun to look at.
