Room 113: Zaira Sanchez Ponce & Andrea Donaji Reyes Pineda: "A resemblance to reality: the perspective of Mexican teachers" (MANGT, YAL) - Escuela Normal No. 4 de Nezahualcoyotl
Currently, the Agenda 2015-2030 denotes in the 4th goal that there are social, cultural and political aspects that denote that students are the centre of education. Nevertheless, what is not as considered is what the classroom management implies.
In Mexico, teachers face groups with an average of 55 students in secondary education, which means they spend about 13 minutes per hour preparing students to learn and keep them focused on the subject; the more students, the more time will be taken for the same purpose.
This research intends to share 50 different perspectives towards the classroom management process as a means of explaining the experiences that have happened to teachers in ESL classrooms to keep improving the language learning.
The results will allow teachers to broad their panorama towards new learning and teaching experiences that can be useful in their classrooms for future challenges that new generations might face.
