Room 111: Laura Edwards: "Reduce, reuse, recycle - improving efficiency" - (TECH, TTD)

Being efficient and effective - this is the goal of many teachers. When it comes to creating lessons, technology can help with organisation, ensuring you get the most out of everything you do. Take inspiration from the environmental mantra ‘Reduce, reuse, recycle’ - reduce the amount of time you spend looking for materials, reuse the materials you love or create yourself, and recycle students’ contributions as future lesson content. This talk covers tips and tools to make life a little easier.

Bio:

I teach English at university and develop digital language tests and learning materials. I have an MA in Technology & Education and am completing a doctorate in TESOL with the University of Saint Andrews. My interests are assessment, TBLT and technology. I’m always looking for ways to make life easier.
