Make A Car

You will need:

1. Pick the name (or names) you would like to launch. Please check the list of existing names on the cars page first. E-mail us at teslacaching@gmail.com with your choice. We must add your name to the list of cars before launching or it will not be able to be logged so e-mail us ASAP. This can take a few days so please do not launch them until they are ready.

2. USE CAUTION - Drill a hole through the rear passenger and driver side window. We use the keychains listed above and the 9/64 bit seems to be a good size, but use your judgement on how big a hole you need. The Tesla Roadsters have a roll bar that is a great place to attach the keychain, but the opening needs to be enlarged a bit - drilling a little between the headrests works well for us.

3. Once drilled feed the keychain through both holes.

4. Print the tags from this file:

5. Write the name or license plates (s) you chose on the tag (s).

5. Fold the tag over on the printed line.

6. Cut off the excess paper as shown:

7. Cut off each tag as show:

8. Place a piece of packing tape on each side of the tag - there should be overlap all around the tag.

Lamination is but better but this is the quick and easy way to do it.

9. Trim the tape all the way around leaving a small (1/8th inch) of tape around each edge. This will help weatherproof it.

10. Punch a hole as shown - be careful not to put the hole through your name or the QR code.

11. Attach to your car.

REMEMBER: The car can only be launched when the name is registered therefore please do not place it at a supercharger until you hear from us.

Thank you for adding to our game!
