*Yes, I’m not sure how I navigate all of this either—some days it flows smoothly, while on others it’s more challenging. Nothing would be possible without my outstanding co-authors and academic advisors and friends & family who push, support, and make me laugh and experience joy in research.
Thank you for believing in and investing in my potential. Academia in our field can be a very, very long and rocky road. You make the marathon feel more like a beautiful hike.

Panel on Circular Economy
Our journey of breaking stereotypes, building bridges, and living real impact led to my very first auto-ethnography paper (special thanks to Dean Shepherd and Mark de Rond for giving me that extra push when I needed it).
The story goes beyond the ring—it's about community, resilience, and creating spaces where we break down barriers and lift each other up. I miss East Palo Alto every single day. This video podcast offers a glimpse into the most vulnerable and authentic moments I experienced during my time there.
“You live what you teach,” says Eugene — and that’s what we strive for in our community.
My most emotional and important (academic) milestone so far - being a Dr. rer. pol, officially and formally :) yea!

Three days full of knowledge and networking, with (vegan) Italian ice cream.
Frank-Martin Belz and I discussed our paper on new venture ideation in the Concluding Plenary and got amazingly constructive feedback, on process theorizing and framing - thank you for being such a great community, to me as a young (and confused) scholar ❤️

Shortly after I joined Sandrine Dixson-Declève and Carlos Alvarez Pereira' The Club of Rome panel at the World Economic Forum in January, I was asked for a follow-up. Back then, Carlos put on the table the offer to do "something meaningful" together on the pressing issue of the knowledge-action gap, ... or how to make sustainability sexy ;-) (incentivizing a sustainability scenario over the "non-sustainability scenario").
