COACHES

TERRY SCHRIVER

Coach Schriver has 16 years of coaching experience.  He has been a head coach at the Jr High and High school level.  He also has coached AAU teams ranging from 3rd-12th grade.  Coach Schriver has been a skill development trainer for over 13 years, training ages from first grade up to Professional players. He currently teaches and coaches at Rocky Mtn. Jr. High.  Coach Schriver has a passion for coaching and skill development.  He was a 3 year varsity player in high school.  His goal is to help players develop their basketball skills to make their Jr. high and High school teams.


JEFF GILES 

Coach Giles Played high school basketball in California for North Salinas High School. After high school went on to play for Hartnell College.  After college coached for Bonneville, Ben Lomond, and Roy high schools.  Has also coached for Mount Ogden, Mound Fort and Highland Jr Highs. Not only coaching basketball but also coaching football and baseball. Coach Giles is currently the Billiards Professor at Weber State University and coaches boys basketball at Rocky Mtn. Jr. High. His goal is to help players to work on fundamentals and improving individual skills and how those individual skills can help a team become more successful.



JAKE TRUJILLO

Coach Trujillo is a former Roy High Royal.  He excelled in Football and basketball in high school. He played football at Snow College and received his degree from Weber State University. Coach Trujillo is currently the Sand Ridge Jr High P. E. teacher and coaches basketball and football for Sand Ridge Jr. high.  Coach Trujillo loves coaching and helping players succeed. He really knows how to connect with his players to get the most out of them.

JAYCOB PAYNE

Coach Payne was a 4 year Varsity player at Roy High.  He continued playing college basketball at Western Wyoming, North Iowa Area Community College and University of Montana Western. He graduated from Weber State University.  Coach Payne will help with skill development working on post and permiter moves.

JUSTIN BOLEY

Coach Boley is also a former Royal.  He played for 3 years at Roy High and then went on to play at Western Wyoming.  He is currently attending Weber State University. Coach Boley will work with skill development in the post for our players, helping with footwork and moves.


KOBE SCHRIVER

Kobe Schriver currently attending Keuka College in New York. He is a Sophomore on the men's basketball team.  Kobe is a Roy High School Alum. He was a 4 year varsity starter.  He holds the school record for career 3 pointers made -204. Single season 3 pointers made-64. Single game 3 pointers made- 7.  His season highs in college so far  is 36 3's in a season and 6 3's in a game. He will work with the players on skill development. 

DOMINIC ANGUIANO

Dominic Anguiano will be attending Weber State University to be a teacher and a coach.  He is a Roy High Alumni.  He was a 4 year basketball player at Roy High.  He has great passion and commitment working with kids to help them succeed.  He will work with the players on their skill development and coaching.  He is currently going to college to be a teacher and coach.

ISAAC BURNETT

Isaac is currently a Junior on the Roy High basketball team.  He can shoot with the best of them from deep and has great leaping ability to throw down some dunks.  He has a great understanding of the game and works well with players.  He helps with skill development.  

BLAKE DONALDSON

Coach Donaldson has over 15 years of coaching AAU basketball.  He also coached bantam teams working directly with the high school.  Coach Donaldson currently works on Hill Air Force Base, but has a passion for coaching and working with the youth to get better with basketball.  

JESSE WAYMENT

Coach Wayment has 6 years of coaching experience with 4 seasons as a head coach at South Ogden Jr. High. 3 years of skill development training for boys and girls from 3rd grade to College.  Currently Jesse is a teacher at Ogden Prep Academy. Coach Wayment started Varsity for 2 seasons at Roy High, was selected to weber county’s 2nd team all area team of 2013 as well as an all-region honorable mention selection. Wayment earned a scholarship at 2 different NAIA/D3 schools. Coach Wayment has a passion for basketball and helping players get better. 

BOSTON GREENHALGH

Boston.  was the starting guard at Roy Jr.  High last season.  He will be attending Roy High this upcoming season.  Boston is a great mentor for our players of all ages.  Boston will work with skill development with our younger players focusin gon ball handling and shooting.

DAXTON LAUGHTER

Daxton was the starting point guard at Rocky Mtn. Jr. High last season.  He will be attending Fremont high this upcoming season.  Daxton is a great leader and mentor for our younger players.  He primarily works with ball handling and finishing moves with our younger players.
